Language and the Arts
Brazil is world renowned for its cultural production in the areas of music, dance, theater, film and literature. Our faculty explore these cultural forms as a mode of critical inquiry for understanding self and society. They are also committed to the study of the Portuguese language and to pedagogical innovations in language instruction.
